Dave is a current JET Program Assistant Language Teacher based in Yonago and Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture, Japan and Master's student of the University of the Philippines Diliman. He enjoys performing, writing, drawing, cooking, doing sports, and exploring different cultures and languages. He writes because of his political advocacies and belief in prophetic justice.
Peter Blair teaches English Literature and is a senior leader at a boarding school. Educated at the Glasgow Academy and the Universities of St Andrews and Cambridge, he is probably the only banjo-playing High Church Anglican Scotsman in existence. He writes to explore the metaphysical in an increasingly materialistic world.
Cameron Hughes grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and studied Church Music at Carson-Newman University in East Tennessee. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she works in campus ministry at UC Berkeley. Cameron enjoys reading, music, and making as many things as possible from scratch in the kitchen.
Dan Gainor is a veteran editor and writer known for media criticism and has been published in numerous outlets including Fox News, The Washington Times, New York Post and USA Today. Gainor is a former sci-fi/fantasy critic who is focusing now on his fiction career. He was recently published in “Mammon: Collateral,” a collection of stories tied to Rob Kroese’s three-book series, and “Amish Rule The World.”
Geoffrey Reiter is Associate Professor and Coordinator of Literature at Lancaster Bible College and an associate editor at Christ and Pop Culture. He holds a BA in English from Nyack College and a PhD in English from Baylor University, along with an MA in Church History from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of several academic articles on genre fiction and philosophy and has also written for Christianity Today online. An author of fantasy and weird horror, his poetry and fiction have appeared in The Mythic Circle, Star*Line, Spectral Realms, and Penumbra.
Jack Nicholson is a student of nineteenth century British political history, although as an Anglican he has also a keen a interest in the intersection between theology and historical study. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cooking for friends, walking in the countryside, and now writing which he sees as an extension of the life of prayer and an important means by which, if called, we come alive in God.
Antonio Ivan Beley is a certified member of the World Youth Alliance with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Asia and the Pacific. His exposure to the different pillars of the Humanities through activities and discussions on culture, socio-political issues, art, history, literature, theology and philosophy from his academic classes and attending seminars at The Morningside Institute gave him the desire to share these with others through writing and active participation in WYA's advocacy of promoting and defending human dignity while contributing to the betterment of the lives of his fellow Filipinos. During his free time, you will find him writing, reading a book, spending time with his friends, playing the guitar, or singing.
Andrea is a Wisconsin native currently living and working as a legal assistant in Northern Virginia. She majored in English at Hillsdale College, so she often reads novels in her free time; but, if she's not reading the Great Books, then she is probably reading theology. She recently converted to the Catholic faith after a year-long deep dive into Patristics, and she is writing to share some of what she has learned through her studies.
