Henry Nolden graduated from College of the Ozarks with a BA in History and a minor in Criminal Justice. He recently graduated from Missouri State University's Defense and Strategic Studies program in Fairfax, Virginia with a Master's degree in the same. In addition to his passion for military history, he pursues interests in education, theology, philosophy, literature, and the role that worldview plays in developing perspective.
Rebekah Slonim (née Basinger) graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in English literature. For school and for leisure, she enjoys reading the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins and Robert Frost, analyzing the novels of Jane Austen, and studying Aquinas and Reformed theology. She now works as a freelance editor. One of her favorite hobbies is listening to her beloved husband—who is pursuing a Ph.D. in mathematics—talk about subjects she does not understand, such as real analysis and topology.
Elizabeth Williams graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in English and creative writing and is passionate about using storytelling to serve the poor. An omnivorous learner, she enjoys reading and watching documentaries on a wide variety of topics, from ancient history to alpine mountaineering to quantum physics.
Aaron Kilgore graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in Classical Studies, and from the University of Michigan with a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. He currently works as a librarian, acquiring and preserving the intellectual fruits of civilization. His interests revolve primarily around storytelling, fiction, and language.
Noah Diekemper studied Latin and Mathematics at Hillsdale College (B.S.) and Data Science at Loyola University Maryland (M.S.). Stephanie Helmick studied Economics, History, and Mathematics at George Mason University. She began her academic career investigating libertarianism, proceeded to church history, dallied in Shakespearean literature, and currently revels in graphic novels and all things Disney.
Virginia Phillips has a M.A. in Religious Studies and an enduring interest in history and politics. In her spare time she writes opinion pieces on current events and theology. She enjoys speculative fiction, martial arts, dancing, and both consuming and preparing food and beverage pairings.
Kittie Helmick studied Comparative Literature and Critical Translation at the University of Oxford, after serving with the Peace Corps in South Africa. Her desire to speak truth in grace led her to found Salt and Iron: Seasoned Writing and its predecessor GoodTrueBeautiful. She has also published critiques of pop culture on The Critic, The Federalist, and Patheos.
