Andrew Koperski is a master's student at Ohio University where he studies ancient and medieval history. He takes particular interest in issues concerning Christianity, politics, and culture--both in the past and in the present. When he's not reading, he enjoys weightlifting, basketball, fishing, and otherwise spending time with his wife, Caroline.
Jessie Callaway is a small business owner in western North Carolina. When she’s not serving ice cream to tourists, she enjoys hiking, visiting museums, nerding out about manufacturing and distribution, overanalyzing everything, and writing about all of the above. She’s a firm believer that ideas have tangible consequences, so she likes to write for people who don’t have the time, energy, or education to evaluate the philosophies governing their lives.
Alisa Ruddell is an associate editor and staff writer for Christ and Pop Culture. She is a homeschooling mother of four who lives in Charlottesville, VA with her husband Steve. She loves classic literature, reading aloud to her children on the couch, listening to theology podcasts, and watching science fiction movies.
Emily Maxson graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in History and an addiction to research. Although her teaching career has paused to make way for her upcoming wedding, she maintains interests in education, theology, and literature. Her favorite authors include Cornelius Van Til, Nathaniel Hawthorne, T.S. Eliot, and Geerhardus Vos.
Ellen Norris loves her work as a middle school English teacher in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating with a B.A. in English from Hillsdale College in 2014, she married a fellow Hillsdale alumnus. She is passionate about education and literature.
Margaret (Freeland) Gassner graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in Accounting and German. She returned home to the Pacific Northwest, where she works in the estate, gift, and trust tax group at a large accounting firm. When she’s not at work, you might find her outside hiking or in the kitchen testing a new recipe. She and her husband also enjoy running a small Airbnb and contributing to the hospitality ministries of their local church.
